Vincent is the Senior Manager, Trade Finance products at RBC. In this role, Vincent leads RBC's strategic approach to products such as import and export letters of credit and documentary collections. Prior to his current position, Mr. Barboza headed up the Ontario Global Transaction Solutions (GTS)sales team at RBC. The GTS team provides business clients with tailored solutions in Treasury Management , International Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange.

Mr. Barboza's experience includes dealing with all types of companies, from Small and Medium sized companies, to Commercial  and Capital Market clients. He is an expert at. providing Trade Finance Solutions around risk mitigation and access to foreign markets, and has a deep understanding of some of the cultural differences in the Middle East and South East Asian Markets.

Mr. Barboza holds a Bachelor degree in Science from the University of Bombay and holds a certification in Documentary Credits jointly awarded  by the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, International Financial Services Association (IFSA), USA and the International Chamber of Commerce, (I.C.C), Paris.

Mr. Barboza is of Indian Origin and has worked with local and foreign banks in the Middle East covering the region and South East Asia. He is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and basic Arabic.

He writes periodically on Trade Finance issues on International Magazines and is the country correspondent for LC monitor a Trade Finance publication for Canada.
