Bill is the Chief Scientist for Trojan Technologies and has 40 years of academic, institutional, and industrial research experience. Bill has variously taught biochemistry, organic and industrial organic chemistry, photobiology, biochemical engineering and engineering unit operations for wastewater treatment at two universities. At Trojan, Bill serves as a consultant to internal research programs and interfaces with Trojan's university and industrial research collaborators in evolving ultraviolet-based and adjacent technologies for water and wastewater treatment. Bill has served as a research proposal reviewer and project advisory team member for research funding agencies in Canada and the United States and serves in an advisory capacity to OCE-CEET, the Canadian Water Network and RES'EAU-WaterNet: A NSERC Network Ensuring Safe Drinking Water For Small and Rural Communities.
