Ron Freedman is CEO of Innovation Atlas Inc., developers of The Innovation Atlas of Canada™, a GIS-based system for displaying diverse sources of data and information on research and innovation in Canada. Ron is also co-founder of THE IMPACT GROUP a consulting firm which specializes in science and technology policy, education, marketing and communications. He is Publisher of RE$EARCH MONEY, Canada’s leading science policy newsletter. Born in Toronto, he has worked in the fields of science and technology policy and communications for over 30 years, in the public and private sectors. Ron's graduate education was in the fields of environmental studies, adult education and science policy. Ron also heads Research Infosource Inc., a business intelligence firm which publishes Canada's Top 50 Research Universities List and Report and Canada's Top 100 R&D Companies List and Report.
