Dragan Nerandzic has held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Ericsson Canada since June of 2006. He joined Ericsson Canada in 2001 as Director of Technical Strategy, leading the team responsible for providing wireless and wire line solutions to Canadian operators. Previous to his current role Mr. Nerandzic held the role of Vice President, Network Systems.
He is member of Advisory Board of ICT Institute at the University of Toronto
Prior to joining Ericsson, Mr. Nerandzic was responsible for wireless technology planning and strategy. He actively participated in standardization and industry organizations including 3GPP2, TIA and CDG. Mr. Nerandzic also had responsibilities for engineering design of analog and digital mobile networks.
Prior to joining the telecommunications industry Mr. Nerandzic worked at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Belgrade where he held various teaching and research roles in areas of fixed and mobile networks.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications and Computer Networks, Protocols and Switching, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Belgrade. After that he attended executive development programmes at Boston University School of Management, London School of Business and Duke University.
