Scott is the Founder and CEO of Venture for Canada (VFC), a national charity that develops entrepreneurial leadership skills in young Canadians through experiential learning. In four years, he and his colleagues have built VFC into an organization that supports hundreds of youth each year. As of the end of 2018, VFC has received over $7 million in funding from a diverse cross-section of public and private supporters. Previously, Scott worked on a cross-product client experience team at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York City. He is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. At Georgetown, he was a weekly columnist for the Hoya, Georgetown’s newspaper of record, and interned at the Council on Foreign Relations. He was named by the Inspire Awards as the 2018 Telus LGBTQ Innovator of the Year.
